Chicago rode a fine outing from starter Chris Ray to victory over the Cincinnati Reds at Wrigley Field. The final score was 3-2. George Poirier collected his 5th save. Cincinnati drops to 13-18.

Elijah Campbell had a critical at-bat with one out in the bottom of the sixth for Chicago. He came through with a run-scoring single to put Chicago in front, 3-1.
