Marlins Top Phillies to Even Record
|
Miami Marlins starter Oscar Banda was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Philadelphia Phillies, 2-0. The win elevated the Marlins to 29-29.
The Marlins benefited from an error in the bottom of the fourth inning. Miami was leading 1-0 when Roger Salazar hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put Miami in front, 2-0.
"I felt we were ready to go," said Miami manager Mike Scott. "Our pregame was pretty good."
