Ayala Leads Charge, Minnesota Blasts Reds
Minnesota laid the wood on Cincinnati at Target Field.

The Minnesota Twins beat the Cincinnati Reds, 23-3, at Target Field. Bobby Ayala, in particular, was impressive. He was 4 for 5 with a home run, a triple, 2 singles, and 2 walks. He scored 4 runs and drove in 7. The Twins have now won 6 straight.

In the first inning, Ayala had a 2-run triple for Minnesota. It was his 2nd triple of the season and put the Twins on top, 2-0.

"We're stringing together some nice wins," said Minnesota manager Patrick Slack.
