Nationals Win Thriller, 11-10
The Washington Nationals stopped the San Francisco Giants, 11-10, behind an impressive performance from Jeff Luvisi. The 27-year old right fielder made life miserable for San Francisco pitching. He hit 3 home runs. He scored 4 runs and drove in 8. The Nationals improve their record to 30-37 with the win over San Francisco.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Washington trailing 10-9, Luvisi hit a changeup from Andrew Kindig for a 2-run home run, giving the Nationals the walk-off win.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Luvisi, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
