Diamondbacks Spill Astros, 4-0
|
Arizona got a strong outing from Tim Wybenga as the Diamondbacks defeated the Houston Astros, 4-0, at Minute Maid Park. The Astros, now 26-48, have lost 5 in a row.
Arizona relied on the hitting of Jim Zucco to pick up the win. The shortstop clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Diamondbacks on top, 3-0. For the game, Zucco had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"We'll grab a cold beverage tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Zucco said.
