The Pittsburgh Pirates topped the Cleveland Guardians, 10-6, with right fielder Josh Cook playing a big role. Cook was 2 for 3 with 2 doubles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Pirates in the win. The Guardians, now 31-57, have lost 4 in a row.

With Pittsburgh leading 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Cook hit a fastball from Mitsuo Kuriyama for a 2-run double. It was his 5th double of the season and put the Pirates ahead, 3-0.
