Phillies Roll to 9-2 Win Over Reds
|
The Philadelphia Phillies stopped the Cincinnati Reds, 9-2, at Great American Ball Park. The Phillies got a big game from Eric Katz, who was 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The last-place Reds have dropped 4 straight games.
With Philadelphia leading 1-0 in the top of the fifth, Katz hit a run-scoring single off Cincinnati hurler Matt Moffat. It was the 101st hit of the season for Katz and put his team ahead, 2-0.
