Phillies Fall to Braves, 5-2
|
Atlanta starter Nolan Stefanski had a strong outing against the Philadelphia Phillies at Turner Field. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 5-2 win. Victor Munoz was called on to finish, recording his 19th save. Atlanta, at 59-47, is 4½ games up in the National League East Division.
The Braves picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.
"We've got guys willing to do what it takes to win," Stefanski told the Atlanta Times.
