Braves Sneak Past Mets, 1-0
|
Nolan Stefanski was in top form in a low-scoring contest between Atlanta and New York. The Braves left-hander helped his team beat the Mets, 1-0. Victor Munoz was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 28 of 30 save opportunities. With the victory, the Braves upped their record to 79-67.
Stefanski ran roughshod over the New York lineup. The left-hander allowed just 2 hits over 9 innings, while striking out 9. With the victory, he goes to 16-8 on the season.
"We didn't score," said losing manager Rabdix Double Dip. "That was the problem."
