Milwaukee Bats Go Silent in 2-0 Loss
|
In a low-scoring game between Chicago and Milwaukee, pitcher Ragnar Danielsson was excellent. The Chicago left-hander helped his team knock off the Brewers, 2-0. Zach Ault got credit for the save for Chicago. It was his 31st of the year. Chicago goes to 89-62, Milwaukee to 67-84.
Chicago relied on the hitting of Jon Solano to pick up the win. The second baseman clubbed a solo home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the White Sox on top, 2-0. For the game, Solano had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"We had a good game plan," Danielsson said, "and we were able to execute it."
