Cincinnati Gets 7-2 Win
|
The Cincinnati Reds topped the Milwaukee Brewers by a score of 7-2. Leading the way was first baseman Chris Grunwald. Grunwald went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Reds. The Reds' win now puts them at 65-89.
Cincinnati used a well-timed hit by Tony Prado to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Reds ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Cincinnati manager Jimmy Silveira II.
