Kansas City Royals starter Elijah Lewis pitched effectively against the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park. The right-hander spearheaded his team's 2-1 win. Picking up the save was Asa Hahn, his 3rd. The win puts Kansas City at 4-1.

Kansas City used a well-timed hit by Imbart Faber to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Royals ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"The old adage is true," said Lewis. "Good pitching stops good hitting."
