Giants Snag 3-2 Win
|
The umbrellas came out during the San Francisco-Los Angeles contest at AT&T Park.
The San Francisco Giants topped the Los Angeles Dodgers by a score of 3-2. Leading the way was first baseman Jack Henningar. Henningar was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Giants. The winner was San Francisco reliever Filip Nebylitsin, now 1-0. The loser was Sam Zegarelli.
San Francisco took a 3-2 lead on Sean Zielinski's 2nd home run of the season. The solo home run, which Zielinski hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Los Angeles pitcher Sam Zegarelli visibly frustrated.
"It was a good effort all around," said Zielinski.
The Giants, now 9-3, have been sizzling early on.
