Houston Decked by Rosenberry, White Sox
|
The Chicago White Sox beat the Houston Astros, 10-3, at U.S. Cellular Field. The win was due in part to center fielder Randy Rosenberry, who was 4-5 with 2 home runs and 2 doubles, while scoring 4 times and driving in 5. Picking up the win was Adam Ratcliff. He went 5.1 innings, allowing 1 run on no hits. The right--hander struck out 6 and walked 5. The Astros drop to 6-9.
Early in the game, Rosenberry had a 3-run home run for Chicago. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the White Sox on top, 3-0.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Rosenberry.
