Rangers Trade Schipper to Guardians for Rogers Sunday, July 28th , 2047 The Rangers and Guardians have been engaged in a little wheeling and dealing. They have just concluded a trade with 21-year old minor league RHP Ferdi Schipper, a 9th round draft pick, and $750,000 in cash going to Cleveland in exchange for 35-year old LHP Riichi Yamashita and 32-year old 1B Robbie Rogers. Cleveland will retain a portion of Yamashita's remaining contract. Cleveland will retain a portion of Rogers's remaining contract. For the year Rogers is batting .258 with 80 hits and 2 home runs.
