2B Henry Alvizo Hurt Friday, September 13th , 2047 Earlier today, Colorado second baseman Henry Alvizo had to leave the game against Chicago because of an injury. Team officials are reporting that he has a fractured foot and will miss 4 weeks of play. Alvizo was hurt being hit by a pitch and was unable to continue playing. He will be evaluated this afternoon by team physicians. Alvizo is hitting .317 this season with 27 home runs, 82 RBIs and 76 runs scored. He has 151 hits in 476 at-bats. |
