Hernandez Blanks New York, 2-0 Tuesday, September 24th , 2047 Jeremy Hernandez kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the Boston Red Sox were all smiles after winning 2-0 against the New York Yankees at Fenway Park today. The right-handed Hernandez gave up no runs in his start, permitted 6 hits and had 7 strikeouts. "If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Hernandez said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be."
