Pittsburgh's Boshnjaku NL Rookie of Month Tuesday, October 1st , 2047 Youngster Micah Boshnjaku emerged as the latest National League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Pittsburgh deserved the honor, batting .325 with 5 home runs and 22 runs batted in. Is the month of September a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Boshnjaku enjoy the limelight. Thus far this season Boshnjaku is hitting .254 with 33 home runs, 105 RBIs and 89 runs scored. He has 140 hits in 551 at-bats and has played in 142 games. |
