Chicago Captures American League Central Division Crown Friday, October 4th , 2047 For the 20th time in franchise history, the Chicago White Sox are champions of the American League Central Division. But it was no easy task, as the White Sox battled until the season's final day in order to capture the title. "It makes it worth all the effort to pull it out this late," said shortstop Joseph Disepolo. "It's hard to describe the feeling, but needless to say we're all feeling pretty good." The team is tops in the division with a 97-65 record and the club will be looking for the 8th Major League Baseball championship in franchise history. |
