Kindig Gets Award for Relief Work

The National League Reliever of the Year for 2047 has been bestowed on San Francisco Giants relief specialist Andrew Kindig.

The 28-year-old bullpen ace, out of Visalia, California, nailed down the award with 34 saves in 69 relief appearances, 99 strikeouts in 71.1 innings and a record of 11 wins and 5 losses to go with his 2.27 ERA.

He received 18 first place votes out of a possible 30. Bryan Banana of the St. Louis Cardinals finished second in voting with 5 first place votes, while Nick Martin of the San Diego Padres finished third with 6 first place votes.
