Rojas Tosses Shutout Against Stanford University
The Fresno State University Bulldogs shut out the Stanford University Cardinal 10-0 today behind the strong pitching of Alex Rojas. Rojas surrendered only 7 hits in recording the complete-game victory, and struck out 5.

Following the last out, Rojas appeared to celebrate a little too boisterously for Stanford University manager Gabriel Cramer, who could be seen scolding the famously outspoken right-hander as the clubs left the field. Rojas's own manager then intervened with some words for his counterpart.

The Cardinal skipper would not comment on the exchange, but at the Bulldogs press conference, Rojas confirmed that it was regarding the celebration.

"He basically told me I was being a lousy winner," Rojas said.

"And I told him he was being a lousy loser," Fresno State University manager Chance Sossamon added.

This year Rojas has recorded a 10-2 mark. In 14 starts he has fanned 70 batters in 88 innings with a 1.84 ERA.
