July's Best Hurler in AL is Black Saturday, August 1st , 2048 July's premier pitcher was Julian Black of Durham Bulls. He pulverized American League hitters all month long and picked up the Pitcher of the Month award. The Bulls star hurler fashioned a 4-0 en route to the honor. He had 37 strikeouts in 41.2 innings and compiled a 0.86 ERA. Other clubs hit .183 against him. Thus far this season Black has posted a 10-5 record, started 22 games, struck out 134 batters in 142.2 innings and compiled a 2.33 ERA. |
