Scranton WB Comes up Empty Against Hoeye

Josh Hoeye was impressive at Huntington Park today in the Columbus Clippers' 4-0 shutout victory over the Scranton WB RailRiders. The Columbus pitcher mystified the RailRiders in a strong performance, giving up 3 hits and totaling 1 walk and 8 strikeouts.
"Josh had them chasing a lot of pitches and talking to themselves," Columbus manager Khalil Fobbs. "It was something special to watch."
On the season Hoeye has compiled a 18-7 mark with a 2.49 ERA in 28 starts. In pitching 213.2 innings he has 170 strikeouts and 60 walks while limiting the opposition to a .231 batting average.
