Best AL Reliever Named Monday, November 9th , 2048 He may only be 22, but Chris Cohen of the Columbus Clippers has already established himself as one of the elite relievers in the American League. The reliever was today named the AL Reliever of the Year winner for 2048. He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 47 saves in 65 relief appearances and 83 strikeouts in 75.2 innings. He had a record of 1-4 to go with his 2.62 ERA. He received 18 first place votes out of a possible 30. Alec Murphy of the Durham Bulls finished second in voting with 12 first place votes, while Chris Kimura of the Toledo Mud Hens finished third.
