Diamondbacks Advance to World Series Monday, January 28th , 2047 The Arizona (WIN) Diamondbacks are on to the World Series after a convincing series win over the Seattle (WIN) Mariners. Arizona (WIN) wrapped up the series sweep with a 5-4 win in the last game, to take the series 4-0. "We expected to win and we executed the way we needed to," said Jon Solano, who was named series MVP. For the series, Solano hit .421 with a .421 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 3 runs. The World Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the League Championship finishes. |
