Mensah Holds Tar Heels Scoreless Wednesday, October 14th , 2048 Rice University hurler Dejenie Mensah put on quite a show today as he blitzed the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Tar Heels with a 15-0 shutout. He baffled them with fastballs and changeups, allowing 1 hit with 12 strikeouts and no walks to pick up the win. "I think every time we were looking for a fastball, he threw a changeup and every time we were looking for a changeup, he threw a fastball," University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill manager Dansby Swanson told reporters after the game. So far this season Mensah has compiled a 8-1 record with a 2.17 ERA. |
