DIV II Star of the Week Named Monday, October 19th , 2048 18-year-old Adam Simpson sent shock waves through Evolution last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Division 2 Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Simpson made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .586 average, 17 hits in 29 at-bats, 7 home runs and 17 RBI. Where the Ohio State University Buckeyes right fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Simpson certainly made his mark last week. This season Simpson is hitting .287 with 11 home runs. |
