Moktar Ame Captures DIV I Award Monday, December 7th , 2048 18-year-old Moktar Ame sent shock waves through Evolution last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Dvision 1 Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Ame made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .500 average, 9 hits in 18 at-bats, 2 home runs and 4 runs batted in. Where the Fresno State University Bulldogs center fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Ame certainly made his mark last week. For the season Ame is currently batting .243 with 14 home runs and 44 RBIs. In 84 games he has reached base at a .323 rate and scored 40 runs to date. |
