Nittany Lions Ebeling Booms 3 HRs

In a powerful performance that left the fans at Illinois Field buzzing, Pennsylvania State University Nittany Lions first baseman Josh Ebeling blasted a trio of home runs en route to a 29-0 win over the University of Illinois Fighting Illini.
"Everything was clicking," Ebeling told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them."
Ebeling shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 5 at-bats, 5 RBIs and 5 runs scored.
"It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Nittany Lions manager Brandon Wagner said. "Josh played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game."
Josh Ebeling hit a solo-shot off Roger Whitaker in the 1st, flied out in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Ross Ledford in the 4th, struck out in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Ross Ledford in the 6th and walked in the 8th.
In his season totals Ebeling has 48 home runs and a .364 batting average.
