David Pops 3 Out of the Park Against Wolverines Saturday, December 26th , 2048 Oklahoma State University Cowboys first baseman Kyle David sensed he was going to have a good day at the plate, but he still might have underestimated it a little. Prior to the start of today's contest with the University of Michigan Wolverines, David told teammates he was sure he would hit a home run. He did -- three times. "During batting practice I really had my swing down pat," he recalled. "I felt some thunder in the lumber." The big day from David pushed the Cowboys past the Wolverines, 27-1. To go along with the homers, he collected 8 RBIs and scored 6 runs. "I was seeing good, feeling good and swinging good," David told reporters after the game. Kyle David hit a two-run home run off Henrik Berg in the 1st, hit a GRAND SLAM off Henrik Berg in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, walked in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Henrik Berg in the 6th and walked in the 6th. David's current batting average stands at .383 and he has chalked up 52 home runs and 142 RBIs. |
