Guéry Thwarts University of Michigan, 16-0 Monday, December 28th , 2048 Jean-Philippe Guéry spun his magic in a 16-0 shutout victory at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium today, leading the Oklahoma State University Cowboys to victory, 16-0 over the University of Michigan Wolverines. The Oklahoma State University pitcher put quite a spell on University of Michigan in a strong performance, allowing 3 hits while totaling no walks and 16 strikeouts. "I had a lot of good things working in this one," Guéry said. "I worked both sides of the plate. I was rarely behind in the count." This season Guéry has a 11-6 mark in 24 starts with a 2.36 ERA. He has given up 99 hits in 141 innings, struck out 152 and issued 39 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .195 batting average against him. |
