Ganzalez Has Season End

After several days of waiting for test results, bad news was delivered to Sal Ganzalez today. The Louisiana State University reliever will be out the rest of the year due to a torn ulnar collateral ligament he suffered on 12/28/2049.
This year Ganzalez is 2-and-1 with 1 save and a 1.19 ERA. He has given up 19 hits in 30.1 innings with 36 strikeouts.

WBC News Flash: Pre-Tournament Begins

The familiar sounds of the crack of the bat and cheering fans will soon be heard. That's right, the World Baseball Championship preseason is underway. Teams are examining the 2049 schedule. In just a few short weeks, it'll be time for the first pitch.
This year's tournament will be held in the host city of Yuma, Arizona.
