University of Oklahoma Loses Merced for Season Sunday, November 7th , 2049 Obviously disappointed, Jose Merced confirmed today that his season is officially over. The University of Oklahoma reliever offered mostly monosyllabic responses to reporters. "Nope," he said, when asked if he might possibly return this year. The 17-year-old Merced suffered radial nerve compression on 11/03/2049 and has been out of action since. So far this season Merced has no saves in 10 relief appearances with a 1-1 record and 2.82 ERA. |
