Super Week for University of Nebraska's Salazar! Monday, November 8th , 2049 19-year-old Carlos Salazar sent shock waves through Origination last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Division 1 Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Salazar made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .400 average, 10 hits in 25 at-bats, no home runs and 6 runs batted in. Where the University of Nebraska Cornhuskers second baseman goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Salazar certainly made his mark last week. Presently Salazar is batting .198 with 2 home runs and 11 RBIs. He has played in 33 games and scored 8 times. |
