Injury Sidelines Reiter for Season Friday, November 12th , 2049 Alex Reiter had hoped for the best, but expected the worst. Today, he learned from the University of Alabama medical staff that he would miss the rest of the season. The University of Alabama reliever suffered bone chips in his elbow in an earlier ballgame. He admitted to being discouraged, but said he plans to come back strong next year. For the year Reiter has collected 2 saves in 18 relief appearances. He has also notched 41 strikeouts and 9 walks in 37 innings while registering a 2.19 ERA and a 0-2 won-lost record. |
