Player of the Week: Anderson of the Cavaliers Monday, November 15th , 2049 18-year-old Scott Anderson sent shock waves through Origination last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Division 1 Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Anderson made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .500 average, 10 hits in 20 at-bats, 2 home runs and 4 runs batted in. Where the University of Virginia Cavaliers first baseman goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Anderson certainly made his mark last week. So far this year Anderson is batting .275 with 4 home runs. |
