Injury Shuts Down Montoya for Season Wednesday, November 24th , 2049 Dave Montoya had to wait several agonizing days to find out his diagnosis after suffering a torn flexor tendon in his elbow on 11/22/2049. Today he received word from the University of Southern California doctor that he would be out the rest of the year. Team officials called it a huge setback but something they would have to overcome. Over the season, Montoya has made 15 relief appearances with 2 saves. He has K'd 31 batters in 28 innings, yielded 7 walks and has a 1.29 ERA. Montoya's record this year is 2-0. |
