SL2 Names Top Player of the Week Monday, December 6th , 2049 Bernie Benavides kept his eye on the ball last week and now all eyes are on him. The Louisiana State University Tigers third baseman easily swung his way to the Sub League 2 Player of the Week Award with 12 hits in 23 at-bats. Benavides hit .522 last week with no home runs, 3 RBIs and 2 runs scored. This season Benavides has hit 2 home runs and posted a .253 batting average. |
