Rehab Setback for Carlos Guerra Saturday, April 23rd , 2050 A bit of bad luck has fallen on the Lowell Spinners today as they learned that left fielder Carlos Guerra had suffered a setback in his recovery from a strained rib cage muscle and will miss more time than expected. The team's doctors had been optimistic about the player's return date, but have now rescinded the original date. The initial guess at how much more time he'll miss is one week. Batting .279 to date, Guerra has 3 home runs and 11 RBIs. |
