August Tosses Shutout Against Reds Sunday, July 10th , 2050 All went well for Dave August of the Hillsboro Hops as he pitched his team to a 5-0 shutout victory over the Cincinnati (NYP) Reds, limiting them to 3 hits. In the postgame interview, both managers had glowing things to say about August on the day. "Dave's got a good selection of pitches he can throw at a guy," said Hops manager Brian Morrison.
