Byron Whitehead Wins NYP Trophy Monday, July 25th , 2050 Byron Whitehead demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the McNamara Division Player of the Week Award. The Minnesota (NYP) second baseman wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .500 average (11-for-22) with 2 home runs and 7 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. In 22 games this year Whitehead has posted a .361 average and put up these numbers: 3 home runs, 13 RBIs and 9 runs scored. |
