Coleman, Toten Suspended for Fracas
Friday, July 29th , 2050
Yesterday at Senator Thomas J. Dodd Memorial Stadium Khalil Coleman and Bryan Toten got into each other's space and then into each other's face. They began to grapple and fell to the ground. That's when it boiled over into a full-fledged bench-clearing tussle between the Connecticut Tigers and Los Angeles (NYP) Angels. Reason finally prevailed as the umpires restored order. After much discussion, only the two major combatants were ejected from the game.

Today the league office notified the ballclubs that Coleman will have to sit out 3 while Toten would be given a 6-game suspension for their roles in the brawl.

This season Coleman has hit at a .280 clip and produced 59 RBI, 5 home runs and 35 runs.

Checking out his stats for the season, Toten has notched 3 wins and 4 losses in 3 starts. His ERA is 4.20 and he's struck out 39 batters in 40.2 innings.
