Hit Parade: Habermehl Pops 5 Hits Sunday, July 31st , 2050 It was a big day for Danny Habermehl and he brought the Williamsport Crosscutters along for the ride. Habermehl led his club to a 10-5 victory over the Batavia Muckdogs today at Bowman Field, smoking Batavia pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. The 26-year-old catcher later called the victory "sweet." Danny Habermehl singled in the 1st, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and doubled in the 8th. Presently Habermehl is batting .277 and has collected 1 home run, 16 RBIs, .373 OBP and scored 18 runs. |
