Boise's Ward NL Star of the Week Monday, August 15th , 2050 It was an exceptional week for Ryan Ward of the Boise Hawks. First he beat the devil out of the ball, hitting .500 and as you would expect, he was voted the Player of the Week in the National League. Last week Ward went 13-for-26, notched 2 home runs and 5 RBIs and scored 9 runs. All in all, a very good week for him. Ward is batting .304 this season in 42 games with 2 home runs, 16 RBIs and 32 runs scored. He has 52 hits in 171 at-bats. |
