Dreadful Season Sees Playoff Hopes Dashed for West Virginia Saturday, August 20th , 2050 The West Virginia Black Bears are bad -- very bad. And as typically happens during very bad seasons, the Black Bears were officially, mathematically, eliminated from postseason contention today. West Virginia last appeared in the postseason in 2046. This is their 4th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 15 times in their 35-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Black Bears have made the playoffs 6 times. |
