Osborne Sharp in 11-0 Shutout Friday, September 2nd , 2050 The State College Spikes bested the West Virginia Black Bears 11-0 today behind the 2-hit pitching of left-hander Jack Osborne. The State College hurler had 14 strikeouts and no walks in going the distance. "Pitching 9 innings is never easy, but it's rewarding on a day like today," Osborne said. This season Osborne has compiled a 5-9 mark with a 3.83 ERA in 25 starts. |
