Halley Has Season End Sunday, September 18th , 2050 Obviously disappointed, Rob Halley confirmed today that his season is officially over. The State College starting pitcher offered mostly monosyllabic responses to reporters. "Nope," he said, when asked if he might possibly return this year. The 20-year-old Halley suffered a torn meniscus on 09/14/2050 and has been out of action since. This year Halley has fashioned a 4-10 mark, 3.86 ERA and pitched 130.2 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .192 against him and he has logged 144 strikeouts. |
