Vermont Won't Make Playoffs Monday, September 19th , 2050 It's back to the drawing board for the Vermont Lake Monsters. The club's efforts at building a championship contender fell short this year, as the team was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. Before this season, the Lake Monsters last missed the playoffs in 2048. In the 35 years they have been a New York-Penn League franchise, they have missed the playoffs 14 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Lake Monsters have missed the playoffs 4 times. Vermont last won the World Series in 2032. |
