Lowell Won't Make Playoffs Sunday, September 25th , 2050 Murilo Selo said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Lowell Spinners after they missed the New York-Penn League playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. This is the club's 31st playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2019. In total, the Spinners have missed the playoffs 34 times in their 35-year history. |
