Volcanoes-Braves Fight Nets 3-Game Suspensions

Baseball officials have notified the Volcanoes and Braves organizations that one of their players has been suspended for "inappropriate and aggressive behavior" in yesterday's Salem-Keizer-Rome contest at Volcanoes Stadium. Alex Peguero of the Volcanoes and Andrew Stanek of the Braves will have to sit out 3 games for their roles in the free-for-all brawl.
This season Peguero is hitting at a .326 pace with 16 home runs, 81 RBIs and has scored 73 times.
Stanek has gone to the hill for 30 relief appearances this season, nailing down 2 saves while notching a 4-1 record with a 5.71 ERA. The Rome reliever has limited opposing batters to a .236 batting average.
